About the Ultrasonic Dog Deterrent
Walking a small dog is a joy, until a large or unfamiliar dog runs up off the lead. This deterrent is a small extra precaution for those moments. It fits in a pocket or hangs from your wrist, so it is always within reach.
Press the button and it sends out a high-pitched ultrasonic tone, with three levels to choose from. A separate buzzer button makes a sound you can hear, and a bright LED torch helps on dark mornings and evenings. The display shows the battery level and the mode.

Please be realistic: no device works on every dog or in every situation, and this one does not guarantee protection from an attack. Use it as one extra tool, together with common sense: stay calm, do not run, pick up a small dog if it is safe to do so, and move away.

Will it protect me and my dog from an attack?
It cannot guarantee that. It is an extra precaution that may make an approaching dog hesitate. Some dogs will not react. Stay calm, keep your distance and move away.
Does it hurt dogs?
It makes a high-pitched sound and does not touch the dog. Use short presses only, and stop once the dog turns away.
Can I hear it?
Most people cannot hear the ultrasonic tone. The separate buzzer button makes a sound you can hear.
Can I use it to train my own dog?
It is made for walks, to keep an unfamiliar dog at a distance. Please do not use it to punish your own dog.
How do I charge it?
With the Micro USB cable in the box, from any 5 V USB charger. The display shows the battery level.
